The French school of Lusaka is endorsed by the AEFE (Agence pour l’Enseignement Français à l’étranger).
We welcome French and french-speaking children and teach according to the programmes of the french national curriculum.
Non french-speaking children may be enrolled at the school from pre-school, so that they can benefit from learning French at an early stage.
The curriculum is endorsed by the AEFE and the french national curriculum until the children reach junior school.
At junior and secondary school, they switch over to the CNED curriculum (Centre National d’Enseignement à Distance – Distance learning center). Lessons are uploaded on their computers and homework is submitted for marking online to the CNED in France. They follow in class lesson times, accompanied by professional secondary school teachers. Children learn to work independently with the added benefit of a small classroom environment.
The French school of Lusaka has 110 pupils, from 30 different nationalities ranging from pre-school to high school.
